I’m Rhett Raleigh. I build software and lead teams. Fueled by iced espresso.

I've been fascinated by software development since I was young. I always found it remarkable what we could create by combining lines of code. This curiosity led me to experiment with small web projects and learn the fundamentals of programming through Python.

These early experiences guided me toward a career in software development. After deciding to pursue computer science in college, I secured an internship at a local company during the summer between my sophomore and junior years. There, I applied my skills in practical settings and began to truly grasp the nuances of software development.

Shortly after graduating, I joined GPS Insight. It was here that I discovered the vibrant field of software engineering is much more than building apps or features—it's about establishing solid processes and ensuring teams are well-equipped to build the best possible products.

Fast forward a few years, and I've had the opportunity to lead teams across several companies, helping them refine their processes and create "Pits of Success" that enable them to continuously deliver high-quality products.
